Camille has a brother Troy Winbush, who is also a popular actor; his list of series and movies he’s appeared in is way too impressive: more than 80 projects, while his most recognizable works are such series as “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service” (2003 – present), “The Big Bang Theory” (2007 – 2019) and “Better Call Saul” (2015 – present). Since her childhood Camille has been interested in many activities her parents could afford; thus she did a lot of singing, played piano from a young age, and was even an accomplished gymnast – at the age of 10 Camilla starting participating in gymnastics competitions, even winning some of them.

Troy appeared on TV screens when he was a baby, so no one in the Winbush family was surprised when Camille got her first role at the age of four in 1994, cast in the TV series “Viper” as Lucy Wilkes, a young daughter of Mara and Julian Wilkes – Camille can be seen in three episodes of the series. In the following year Camille had the major role of Emma Aimes in the comedy series “Minor Adjustments” (1995-1996), playing the daughter of Ron and Rachel Aimes in all 20 episodes of the sitcom.
Later she had more roles in such series as “ER” (1994 – 2009), “Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child” (1995 – 2000) and “7th Heaven” (1996 – 2007). She was also in the cast of such TV films as “Dangerous Minds” (1995), “Eraser” (1996) and “Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai” (1999).
A new twist in her career happened when Camille got the role of Camille Travis in “Grey’s Anatomy” (2005 – present), and that of Ally in “Criminal Minds” (2005 – present). She was welcomed with positive feedback from critics for her work in “The Bernie Mac Show” (2001-2006), in which she played Vanessa Thomkins.
